第一首 " Intro " 充滿未來感的50秒音樂, 像是一個時光旋渦, 要把我拉進 Taken By Cars 的世界。我以為這只是個充滿噱頭的開始, 想不到當進入第二首 " Uh Oh " 時, 我才知道這支樂團打算讓我用最大的專注力聽完近五十分鐘的強力衝擊 !!

從小學就認識的Zialcita, Chua, Yap, 和 Kong , 在1998年組了一個樂團 , 在他們的走唱生涯裡用了很多團名 , 像是: "Kong Fu Benny" . "Mexican Rice Bowl"(這兩個也太有創意了吧.....) ."Morning Wood" 等 , 最後他們決定把團名定為 "Taken By Cars" 。很好奇他們為什麼會找一個這麼特別的團名 , 他們說"Taken By Cars" 結合了一種動態的概念 , 還有就是 ..... 他們常常在車上聽自己的歌 (很單純的動機....)
在嘗試多種曲風後 , 2006年主唱Sarah Marco 加入了Taken By Cars , 他們的樂風逐漸定位為 "classic rock-modern indie vibe" , 不過就在他們開始對外演出的一個月後 , 成果卻不如預期 , 讓團員們陷入低潮 。無所是事的他們開始為了日後重新出發而寫歌 , 並上傳到Myspace , 結果讓他們有了很多來自世界各地的歌迷。
2007年Taken By Cars 重新出發 , 而且受到馬尼拉獨立搖滾界的注目, 那些歌迷還要求(或是逼迫....)當地的電台在節目上播放Taken By Cars 的首支單曲 "A Weeknight Memoir (In High Definition)"。"A Weeknight Memoir (In High Definition)" 這首歌後來更被各大電台強力放送 , 等到Taken By Cars 推出了第二支單曲 "Uh Oh" 後, "Uh Oh"更成為電台排行榜的冠軍 (嗯 , 我也喜歡) 。2008年初 , 華納音樂幫他們發行了第一張專輯 "Endings of a New Kind" 。"Endings of a New Kind" 延續"Uh Oh"的超動感元素 , 首首歌都隱藏著讓聽者提早耳背的危機 , 但很有勁道啊!! 現在團員們則正努力的生第二張專輯中
