有人說她給人的感覺像凱莉克萊森，不過我反而覺得她比較像本人很喜歡的蜜雪兒，因為樂風都是走Folk Rock，也同樣是拿著吉他走天下的創作型歌手。有在看<<One Tree Hill/ 籃球天空>>的人應該會知道她，因為她在裡面飾演Mia。並且在戲裡面唱了許多歌。

年僅21歲的Kate，自2003年出道至今共發行了<<The Other Side>>(EP) (2003) . <<Louder Than Words>>(EP) (2005) . <<Don't Look Away >>(Album) (2007) 等專輯。Kate於2006年10月簽約加入Myspace唱片公司，之後旋即創作並錄製發行了她音樂事業中的第一張專輯<<Don' t Look Away>>。
